Hi there! I’m Jacob Sadowyj, a Site Reliability Engineer. I build infrastructure that stays up, automates itself, and fails in ways someone already thought about. My goal every quarter is to make production as boring as possible — so far, mostly successful.
experience
I’ve built infrastructure that other people depend on without ever thinking about it: monitoring that catches datacenter problems before anyone files a ticket, and a production CDN migration that took days instead of quarters because the whole thing was already defined as code.
My days are spent wrangling Kubernetes clusters, crafting Terraform modules, and making sure PostgreSQL databases stay happy under load. I love the challenge of taking a messy infrastructure problem and turning it into something elegant and automated.
From startups to government agencies, I’ve taken applications that were held together with hope and duct tape and transformed them into robust, scalable cloud architectures.
